Why are we cosplaying Bella Dimitrescu and only knowing the mainline games!

Okay, here's the thing: I haven't been playing Resident Evil for a long time, but seeing as I still play the game, I need to talk about this, recently (mostly around Halloween) I've been seeing videos of girls (WHO ARE REALLY PRETTY) cosplaying the Dimitrescu sisters and it is so obvious that 99% of them are doing it cause its "trendy" and if you were to ask them to name 5 games they would say some shit like "Resident Evil 1 Resident Evil 2..." shut up with you're "one fish two fish" sounding ass, and I swear if you were to comment on anything about it you would get replies by 12-year-old Stacy saying "she can cosplay who she wants" like yes she can I'm not saying that but those are the same people who goon over Resident Evil 4 remake Leon and only him. now obviously this isn't a HUGE issue but it's still something that pisses me off because why are you cosplaying a character from a game you know nothing about.
