29 and Spiraling (But At Least My Blog is Cute)

I’m binge-watching Dexter (yes, again, don’t judge), in full dark-and-twisty mode, when BAM, this retro blog ad pops up while I’m scrolling. And y'all, it was giving Piczo, it was giving MySpace, it was giving Skyrock. My inner 13-year-old let out a full-on scream. Like, “Is this real life?! Am I seriously diving back into this world at 29?!" Like hell yeah I'm down!!!

I once went by “Bunny16World” on Piczo. Yep, twas a time lols soooo many sparkly GIFs everywhere, dramatic emo song lyrics as titles, and lowkey the best layout choices, ughhhh!!! I wish this site kept archives. But, yeah, it was a vibe. It. Was. A. Vibe. So now, here I am, on the cusp of starting a blog again, and the nostalgia is hitting harder than a Friends marathon.

But real talk, what is even happening right now? Is this a midlife crisis in disguise? Are we all collectively just spiraling and reaching for simpler, glittery, HTML-filled times? Also, side note: Are you single and mildly freaking out about it but then also, like, not? Because, at least you don’t have a child to raise in this economy! LOL.
