snow

i love the snow!  with these recent snow storms, i have been enjoying it very much.  i made a mini snowman with my mom.  i went sledding on a baking pan.  don’t knock it until you try it- it works okay?  i also pulled up to my aunts out where sparkling fresh snow was falling.  after getting situated, i plopped down into the snow.  it encased my body!  even though i had a puffy jacket on and warm clothes, i felt freezing.  some of it had crept through the crevasses and was stinging my skin turning it pink and red.  i saw the soft lit moon that was atop the clouds.  tiny flurries fell on my face.  i saw how the icicles lined the power lines and weren’t going to leave very soon.  it wasn’t a moment that last very long, but it was a nice one that i will cherish!

my favorite season is autumn, and the cold isn’t something i like very much but i can handle winter!  again, it’s nice to see the snow.  when winter rolls around i usually think about climate change and how i hope that this winter will be a long one and will restore all of earths climate problems as if i am from winterfell.  but with the wildfires in california, there is no sense in hoping.
