Love

a perspective on love that i have

Warmth and solace, it’s what one desires

Ignition of the heart, starting the fire

Scorching flames, killing darkness,

Inviting the calmness. 

A delicate soul can cure another

From the hardships of one’s journey

But will the flames suffer?

No, that doesn’t concern me. 

The flames need fuel to remain ruthless,

In order to enlighten the spirit

Fuel in the form of fondness,

That’s the secret. 

To passion-filled love, isn’t it bliss?

Do I deserve this?
