Things in songs that make me go FERAL (Mostly in musicals)

I mentioned this in my Wicked blog but now I'm doing it in detail about it, here are some things that show up in songs that make me start ascending into the sky.

1. When the ensemble basically turns into an opera. An example I have is in the Wonka movie and the song called "You've never had chocolate like this." In the end of that song, the ensemble just pops off and goes all out- I absolutely love that part of the song. 

2. When an actor just starts B E L T I N G in their song. In waitress and the song "When she used to be mine", there's this part in the song near the end where the vibrato just makes me start flying. I might just be biased because I just love jessie Mueller's voice so much. This also shows up in defying gravity in Wicked!

3. When the music just starts overwhelming you. This one might not make sense at first but trust- it's soooooo good (in my opinion of course). In "In The Heights"(Movie version, Broadway version also hits!) also at the end of the song of "Paciencia y Fe" the music kicks in at full swing and the ensemble singing and the actor just hitting that note- GRAHHH. What i'd do to hear this song again for the first time...
