I hate tumblr

So, I don't think any locked tomb readers will touch or see this entry, but I need to get this out because I feel like I'm going crazy. So I was on tumblr I believe yesterday, and I saw this post that said something like "why would you take a moral stance on tlt, its THE problematic stuff book, you should just let it happen" and I mean yeah sure, but they were also advocating for pedophilic ships and acting like its a moral failing to... not like pedophilic ships... wild to me.... sorry I don't think you should ship grown ass women with kids? I guess? It was odd. Listen, I don't feel the need to moralize the characters within the media I'm consuming --I've actually been advocating for Mercymorn and Harrowhark to get really evil-- but there's a line, and a way to not seem like a genuine creep while consuming morally "incorrect" media. For example, not loving the toxic incestuous relationships within said media beyond a "wow this dynamic is so interesting and fun to read!" kind of way. I somehow am always shocked when I come across things like that, despite how frequently I see it. Not trying to police how people consume media, just saying sometimes people get really creepy when it comes to heavy topics like abuse, pedophilia, rape, etc.
