My Taxidermy Collection!

Every piece I own is ethically sourced, and while I'd love to get into finding my own bones, my area isn't the best for that, so I've bought most of these pieces. I'll also answer questions about where to get ethical taxidermy and how to know if it is!

First off I'll show *some of* the bones I found myself, these are all little bones from a mixture of animals (shrews, small birds, mice, &c) and they came from owl pellets in an abandoned barn I went to every so often! I have a few skulls in there, but they might be kinda buried

Next I have a fox pelt, I got it on etsy from a seller that collects fur from ethical trappers and turns them into pretty pelts (ethical trappers: in areas with many foxes that are disturbing local wildlife or livestock, who use the meat as well & use good trapping methods that don't torture the foxes or catch other animals)

Then I have a raccoon and coyote skull, also from etsy

And here's some tails I have! The first one is from wolfboygirl on Etsy (that's the only name I remember unfortunately, and I can't check because my selling account got deactivated). The second from left to right I got from a renaissance festival, and two scraps from etsy)

I'll update this with any more I get! I love taxidermy, I understand why people can find it uncomfortable but I see it as honoring the animals and it is very beautiful to me :>
