Hello everyone! I recently saw the Grammy's nominees for Best Album, and I have opinions about each one of them, so let's start.
Beyonce: I was never a fan of Rhythm and Blues, so she's definetly not who I'm rooting for.
AndrΓ© 3000: Never heard about this guy before, so I listened his album and it was ok, nice production but nothing that makes me shake my head or tap my foot.
Sabrina Carpenter: Is just a generic pop artist, and when I heard the sentence "Switch it up like Nintendo", my soul went πππ.
Billie Eilish: Her new album wasn't bad, but it's definetly her weakest. Other than Lunch and Chihiro, the songs weren't very catchy.
Chappel Roan: A great example of don't judge something by its cover, I expected it to be a boring indie pop album, but it was very energetic and rich in sounds. The slower songs are the only bad ones.
Taylor Swift: I couldn't finish The Tortured Poets Department, it was the most boring and hollow album I listened this year.
Charli XCX: She deserves to win by far. Just by looking at the album cover you can tell it's going to be something different, it's not everyday that you get to see hyperpop mixed with EDM, and I love electronic music. Definetly this year most surprising album.
In the end, I'm not going to watch the Grammy because I don't care about these events that only like mainstream stuff. I just wanted to praise Charli and shit on Taylor Swift.
