My pin badge collection and some stories attached to them!

Heyyo! This is my first blog so figuring out how it all works, i wanted to share my pin badge collection and why i like collecting them along with some stories on how i got them or why i like certain ones more than another :D.

I have a very bad memory so a lot of my memories revolve around physical objects so i like to collect stuff that reminds me of a certain time and place in my life, it helps solidify those moments for me.

My rarest pin in my collection is probably my nirvana pin from a live show that they did, i actually got this through an older friend of mine who was giving away some cassettes and such, me and him talked a lot about nirvana and he gave me this pin one time. Its super rusty but so cool and it was an awesome gift to get.

The Ghibli pin badges were some basic badges i bought off amazon since they looked cool, it was when i started collecting them and they came in a set of 3 so i said why not, later down the road i was in damage society (a UK alt store) and the lady at the till also collected badges, i offered her one of my Ghibli badges and she was so happy so in return she gave me her damage society pin! I'm not sure how credible it is but supposedly its rare to get since they were a limited run thing that you got from purchasing stuff way back when, either way it was super nice of them and I'm happy to have it!

The joy division and nirvana pin badges are some of my favorite because it was the first time i met my best friend in real life after having planned and working hard to do so for a while, it was on my birthday and they had bought these for me, while its a small gesture it meant the world to me and i love them so much I'm so happy to have a friend as awesome as them and these pins will always remind me of that day!

These were given to me by a life long friend of mine, the neon genesis pin was the very first pin badge i ever got and since then i liked to collect them, he got them up in York for me from a pin shop. Hopefully soon i can visit up there and check out the shop in person!

This was a gift to me from a friend as well, its a super thick metallic pin badge of Makoto from persona 3, I'm a big fan of the persona series so they got me this ^^

Everything from here is just some cool random pins i bought with no real story or background, i just want to share them too :).

That's most of my pins so far, its a bit of a small collection because i only recently got a job to start my hobby and life gets in the way. I hope you enjoyed my blog about them :D.
