Windows is boring

Remember windows XP, vista and 7 where it was so colorful and awesome? all the colors and sound effects, it even came with built in games...

now we're at windows 11 and its so frekin boring. all the icons are completely flat, its so sterile, it has no personality. and there is barely any options to actually change it! you can change the wallpaper, some icons, and the sound effects (not even all of the sound effects can be changed without going into regedit!!!)

my proposal... as you maybe know theres a home version of windows and a business edition. pretty much the only difference back in the day was that business edition didnt include any games (which new windows doesnt even have ANY of...)

What if they reworked business and standard edition to actually be different from eachtother?

Like on home edition you could change sound effects, easily change icons, and other cool stuff, and it would also include games windows used to have like minesweeper and stuf

and then the business edition would be more formal, less costumization and no games!

i really love customizing my computer. it makes me much happier and productive at school! i hate that its become the norm to not be colorful, fun and customizable cuz its easer to sell to companies.

i think its amazing that people look back at windows xp through 7 with nostalgia! all the built in games and colors and stuff are amazing for kids to play with. what is there for kids now?

Remember Movie Maker? The games? Paint is not getting updates anymore, theres barely any sound effects, the startup sound is so short and boring, WINDOWS 11 HAS NO PERSONALITY!

then theres also how bad windows 11 is put together. Its just windows 10 but a little different, but its so stitched together! the refresh rate option is burried in the advanced display options. WHY?! that seems kinda important!

not to mention that it has no distinct style. ofcourse most of the menus do, but then you open the control panel and its in a different style!! they just mash all these different styles and it does not work.

in conclusion. windows suck. thank u for readin.
