I dont think I ever really talk about this stuff but let's see what I have to say. I think people hear the word feminism and feel attacked. but it's simply just the advocacy for women's rights. what I understand feminism is breaking those societal negative ideologies there are about woman. not to say there isnt negative stereotypes for men that feed into (I think that the issue swell, two things can be true at the same time. the absence of mention doesn't mean its not happening). now, im going to touch on patriachy within the family dynamic. the old skool nuclear family has so many flaws. The stereotypical role that women is meant to take on is the cooking, cleaning and emotional (I dont want to say this but) burden is a lot. while there is hardships of being the bread winner, the whole thing isn't good for anyone. to be honest, we are moving in a positive light as centuries have past. social media doesn't help none of this lmao. Even from young, we have been indoctrinated to certain ideas. the bedroom daughter and the son that gets to play outside. some men would most likely agree with the term by definition (advocating for women's right) but then still sexualise women bc of how normal to them it is and probably the only way they find comfortable talking about a woman because they cant see the fact that they are human like them. even when I think to my junior days, some the things the boys used to say were nuts but that was the lingo lol. ion kno some thoughts.
