being fangirls in 2012-2016

this one is for all the girlies who wish they were teens in 2012-2016: i was!

it was in fact very cool, so cool, better than you can even imagine, i miss it so much.

we were the first generation to have access to the internet in our teenage years and the internet was so different back then, i'd say it was better because people used it freely while now there are so many influencer wannabes, they only think about appearance and about their feed...

as a big belieber and directioner (i was also in other fandoms but these two were the most active ones) i experienced it all with so much joy, even the "relationship" with our favs seemed closer because social media were mainly populated by people around our age and there were less users, they were the first years of social media as such so even the singers shared more about it.

it looked like all of us were united by the passion for that specific singer/show/actor/artist and so on and i made so many friendships through that who i'm still friends with today.

today i basically never use social media, they were so fun back then but now they are so boring, i don't care about (almost) anything i see.

no other era will ever be like that, i literally cannot explain how great it was.
