Top 10 Most Annoying Things People Do on Public Transport

 Here’s my list of most obnoxious offenders:

1. Slow Walkers – Honestly, why do you think the world is moving at your pace? If you're walking that slowly, just step aside, yeah? You might miss the train but I certainly wont be.

2. Loud music – It’s like you’re advertising your terrible taste in music for everyone to hear. No one wants to listen to your noise-polluting playlist. Pop in some proper earphones, please.

3. Spreading out on More Than One Seat – Ok I get it if it's basically empty but if there are other people who need a seat move your grotty shoes off! 

4. People Who Stand Too Close – Are you trying to get a closer look at my soul? Because if so, there are easier ways. Back up, yeah? Personal space exists!

5.  Overly Friendly Strangers I don’t need to hear your life story just because we happen to be standing next to each other on a bus.

6. Phone Talkers – I don’t need to hear about your whole life story, especially if it’s something as exciting as your nan’s bunions or what colour your cousin is painting their bathroom. Keep it down.

7. People Who Don’t Hold the Door for Others

   I swear, if I’m running for the bus/train and you see me coming, hold the bloody door open. Don’t just watch me struggle! You’re not busy, you’re just rude.

8. The Person Who Can’t Work the Ticket Machine

   Why are you standing there for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to buy a ticket? It’s not that hard. Move aside and let the rest of us go please!!

9. The Non-Stop Talkers: If you’re chatting loudly on the phone about your boring life and I’m stuck in a seat next to you, I can’t deal with it. Please save it for later or talk a bit quieter.

10. Obnoxious boys: This is the worst one. No I don't want your number because I ended up sitting across from you. And could you please stop blasting your music, chatting over the top about your 'hectic night' and giving me those repulsive looks. Can someone raise their sons right please? 

Anyway, that’s my rant for today. If you're guilty of any of these, do the world a favour and change your ways. Otherwise, I’ll be the one giving you the look.
