Chat why is the world so hateful?

This is a little out there, but i want to spread some niceness rn. Why is everybody so mean? more importantly why do people think that why you meet hate with hate it'll fix the problem, or more often prove a point? you get no where with pointless insults and meeting hatred with more hatred, ik that sometimes people need to be humbled, but when you pride yourself on being different or ¨for the people¨ but then you go and feed into this loathing that the said system wants you to feed into. I think we need to meet this brutal and unjust with more of a progress view, instead of a view that just puts all of it down when it can be salvaged.
