my fav arcane characters ♡

hiii so i love love love arcane and i wanted to yap abt my TOP FIVE fav characters in it!!!

1. viktor - he literally was what influenced me to watch it. he is one of my fav characters in anything ever. i think his character arc is so beautiful (so is he) and i literally think abt him everyday. ALSO JAYVIK!! "in all timelines, in all possibilities; only you" WILL be tattooed on my body one day. i loved him in all his forms and he literally makes me want to scream and cry and throw up. he's also the loml. he is so gorgeous and cool and AAAAAHHHH I could talk about this man for ages. he is ethereal. also he was SO SASSY. and the "this isn't my bedroom line"???? HELP????
2. jinx - what's low k weird is she was NOT one of my favs until she found isha. and even then she didn't quite make second place until i'd finished arcane, just about recovered from jayvik's death and realised just how even MORE devastating her's was than what i had thought. i adore her and powder in the au as well. one of the things that really stands out to me abt jinx is her relationships with other characters; those dynamics, those tragedies, those scenes, those narratives... also - SHE WAS FRICKIN HILARIOUS!?!?
3. ekko - everyone loves him. he's objectively amazing. he's so lovely and also TIMEBOMB DEVESTATES MEEEEE!!! i also loved his friendship with heimer which i'll get onto soon. he was SUCH a hero in the series and had such a cool character design too!! it also DESTROYS me how he lost basically everyone other than vi, who, even then moved in with caitlyn by the end so he wouldn't really see her either. he lost his dad, his friends, heimer and obviously jinx too. he had to leave the au jinx who he could be happy with, so he could save the jinx in his timeline, only for him to lose her too the next day. TRAGIC.
4. jayce - i simultaniously hate him for the way he acted (not for killing viktor, mind you. i get that. just... the rest of it) and also absolutely adore him. i can't really NOT put him in here because... i mean... JAYVIK, but also all in all he was such a well written character; he made mistakes, he fixed mistakes, he forgave, he defended and he suffered... but also "you were never broken, viktor". that's all.
5. HEIMERDINGER - he is genuinely one of the most UNDERRATED arcane characters. dare i say he had one of the best arcs in the show. his friendship with ekko was one of my fav friendships in the show, he was CORRECT about the hexcore, PEOPLE FORGET HE LITERALLY TOOK IN VIKTOR AND WAS SO KIND TO HIM ("you should be proud of what you've achieved, viktor"), he got kicked off the council by the guy he helped get on there (looking at you twat talis - this is what I meant by 'the rest of it' earlier on) AND FINALLY HE IS LITERALLY A FRICKIN 400 YEAR OLD HAMSTER LOOKING GUY LIKE HELLO? THAT'S ADORABLE??? also YES i am aware yordles can't die but ekko doesn't know this and in a sense heimer still sacrificed himself for ekko.
