In the middle of the darkest night. When the whole world ceases and is reduced to nothing but a hushed whisper and the street lights begin to blur together all around becoming muddled with the fog that surrounds you. When you find yourself all alone, in the wilderness. Wolves and Lions track your scent down and quietly stalk around you completely surrounding you. When you sit in the corner of your room, huddled close together to keep yourself from breaking further. In the middle of the darkest night, when you feel desolate inside and your soul lets out one final shriek, one cry out for help. It leaves one faint signature of sorrow. The eyes on your face grow hollow and the hollowness is filled with your salty water works. No one has seen you, no one has come to you yet. How long has it been like this? How many nights have you spent alone..how many drops have fallen from your face? Shame and unworthiness make themselves comfortable in your house, and no one has come to save you. When you feel like it's not enough to be here. When you pretend in the day, like night has never happened, no one knows. No one has seen you. 

 But even though no one has seen you. I will search for you. I will search for you in hopes that I will look up on your face with love. My heart could never paint a look of displeasure towards your actions. I will not turn my face from you. Even in the middle of the darkest night, when you're all alone and scared. I will come to you like a light, to illuminate your dark house. I will drive out shame and unworthiness and expose them for the pests they are. When your body has become an immovable stone covered with sharp edges, I will smooth you out. I will move your immovable heart and I will come to you on your darkest night. I will see you. When you cannot hope to understand, when you don't understand, I will understand for you. I will be behind you, in the walls that you have built around your precious heart. I will stand in front of them and sing my tune of peace to you. 

I will bring a mirror to your face, first I will point out your beauty, then I will show you the things you have hidden from yourself, about yourself, and to yourself for so long. We will look at each other, for each other, together. I will lift this reflection as well as your face, you will no longer feel alone in this moment. No. At this moment, you will feel me. You will feel the love I carry, and on the darkest night, I will wrap it around you like a blanket so you will never freeze and be stagnant. So you wont get frost bite. So you wont stay in the same cold desolate place. I will wrap my love around you, not just in a blanket for your body. I will give my love to you in cups of hot coco to warm your insides, to defrost your abandoned prism of imagination and joy. The soul that's inside you, some of your people have broken your soul and trapped them in prisons of trauma. I will not break your core. I will strengthen it for you. With the warmth in your tears, I will melt your soul back together and make you whole.
