If someone told you about mooses and said theyre a mythical creatue YOUD BELIEVE THEM!! BECAUSE THEYRE SO COOL!!

The Moose described in ancient times:

The first mention of the "alces" in literature is in 50 BC !

Caesar thought they have no knees and cannot get up on their own! a silly tought :PP THEY CAN!! unless stuck on ice. He decribed Germanic hunters to have tried to erode/saw the trees in a mooses prefered napping area, so they would lean on them and fall. C. Julius Caesar, BG VI-27

Also this dudes names Bartholomaeus Anglicus who lived in the 12th century described their chinballz¹ to contain HOT WATER like a dragon! They would spray unwelcome intruders, leading to serious injury. 

What to do if you encounter a moose?

Theyre like Enderman. Dont look them in the eyes! Keep your distance and back up slowly.

Mooses have VERY SHARP hooves. You do not want to kiss them. Fortunatley, mooses got quite the bad vision. But they make up for it in their sense of smell!

THE BIGGER THE BALLZ the more play they get!! size and shape of the ¹dewlap may be an indicator of dominance to other bulls, just like the size of the antlers are.

Furthermore it is believed moosebulls rub their ¹dewlap against the moosecows (queens) body, so she gets used to the scent in mating season.

theyre soulder is up to 2,3 metres tall :OOO (7,55 ft for the oil guys) PLUS THE SIZE OF THE ANTLERS 

and they themselves are 3 metres long:O (9,8 ft)

Mooses weigh up to 850kg for bulls and 360 kg for cows!! (800/1800lb) 

American mooses ANTLERS can get up to 36kg (79lb) heavy and 2 Metres (6,56 ft) wide! Thus they shed them after mating season to save up the energy.

Their habitat lays in the upper northern Hemisphere! 400,000 of them live in sweden alone! (-100,000 in hunting season)

MOOSES ARE WHIMSICAL FAIRYS PROTECTING THE WOODS

It is believed the long legs make for good movement in tall terrain :D HOWEVER! They seek a much more important purpose! 

When mooses used to be open about their magic with no muggles to interfere, The long legs helped them run and glide along the trees for incredible hights! Nowadays they have to wait for moonfall or become invisible to unkind. (Which only the elder have mastered)

They deliver important messages in the blink of an eye!

The spirit of the woods running through their hooves, mooses imprint a connection from tree to tree while gliding, faster than any root could tell in days! 

Every Moose has their own individual glitterdust trace! if a moose is fond of you, It will mark you with their dust, and all other forest creatures shall respect you!

However it is very rare to recieve such an honor.
