Help a new adult to choose a college degree i guess???

Please keep in mind that english is not my first language.

So, i´m trying to go to college this year, my goal is to enter college to study biomedicine, the reason why i chose biomedicine is because is biology, but centered more in the human body and here in my country i feel like that career path has more oportunities, but i did not have the opportunity to talk with someone about how biomedicine college is, is there any biomedic/soon to be biomedic here to give some advice?
