the official OK Go accounts on social media have been posting teasers for a while now, ramping up with the release of the PGO. (if you haven't seen my edit in my original blog post, the PGO (producers guild of okgo) is the same idea as a behind the scenes patreon, only just a one time fee for a year's membership.)

along with the ramp up, they've been specifically promoting a music video coming out Very Soon(tm). it seems the first music video for OKGO5 will be for a song named "A Stone Only Rolls Downhill". damian shared the stripped acapella vocals for the chorus in a short, but today we have received a new snippet along with AN OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE!!

ohhhh my god. THAT'S ONLY 10 DAYS FROM NOW. NEW OK GO MUSIC VIDEO ON THE 16TH OF JANUARY.

for reference, although their last full album release was in 2014 with Hungry Ghosts, their last music video release was in 2017, when they released the video for Obsession. thats 7 years ago. we are getting a new OK Go music video after 7 years.

and not just that, but we're getting an album, at some point this year. i'm so happy i could die. right now. except not because i need to listen to the full album.
