Storytime + WIP

Konnichiwa! This is Xee once again posting! Bet you people are starting to get sick of me posting as admin and not in roleplay but hey- at least I'm making some considerable progress! Lately I've been focusing a lot on my comic and characters so I'm hella proud of myself for locking in and actually getting shit done lolz. Anyways, enough about me. Or not? Alright so story time.

Earlier today, like I just said, I was working on Finn's design but the pose I originally had him on was lowkey too static so I went to Pinterest and looked for references. After a couple of minutes I found the most flyest, coolest, FIRE pose EVER. I was so hyped to draw my man using said pose as reference so I went straight to it. When I was done sketching however I got curious and decided to do a Google reverse search to find the artist behind that illustration I found. Long story short, it was made by AI X___X. I wanted to freaking DIE, dude. Shit was tragic. I already had the sketch done and a freaking ADORE it so I couldn't bring myself to delete it. I for real almost crashed out. Luckily enough my pals helped me come back to my senses. They explained to me AI has always meant to be a tool so I shouldn't feel bad for basing some aspects of my art off it. As long as I don't trace or straight up plagiarize the reference pic it's all good. Don't copy, be inspired. Don't get me wrong though it still feels kinda icky but at least I no longer feel as guilty as I did at the beginning. Plus the person who generated said pictures calls themselves an "AI artist" so I suppose it ain't that bad LOLZ. Do remember, protect artist and creative people, burn Ai artists and all those who take away credit from real and talented artists. 

OKAY so NOW enough about me. Here, have a preview of the sketch I did.

I tweaked some things here and there to make the pose my own or at least not a carbon-copy of the one I was inspired by. Finn is a looker, isn't he? Not me glazing at my own character XD Sorry I just love my stupid lil' guy/affectionally. I still gotta settled for a color palette for him but that's being taken care of! He prolly will have silver hair though cuz kweel. But who knows! Certainly I don't, haha!
