A shooting STAR (poem)

β˜…A shooting STARβ˜…

My life is a night sky

The moon was glowing so bright,

I couldn’t see the stars.

The angels on my window humming the love songs I wrote for you.

Oh to hold the promises like a necklace of shattered mosaic.

And to spell your name in the corner of the letters that I wrote,

Letters you were never able to read,

You were too busy,

Shining so bright in my memory.

My life was a night sky,

You were a shooting star,

So bright, so beautiful, so fast,

Leaving a scar on my ground.
