posting on socials

How do you post on socials especially insta without mega stressing that ur posting something embarrassing. Like i wanna post almost as part of my unofficial new years resolution to get out of my comfort zone and like be more social but what if i post myself thinking i look good but then after people see it i realise it was a really ass angel or just overall unflattering.
