KoRn is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California. Formed in 1993 by James Shaffer (Munky), Reginald Arvizu (Fieldy) n David Silveria. These guys already met each other bcuz previous to KoRn, they were in the Funk metal band L.A.P.D. (Love and Peace, dude/ Laughing as People Die), band where munky played guitar, David drums, Fieldy bass, n only in shows, Brian welch (Head), guitar. N now u r probably wonderin "wheres John dude??" While the guys were on L.A.P.D., John was on Sexart. One night, Sexart was doin a show on tha same bar that munky n head were drinkin. Both of em were about 2 go when they heard john sing, they looked each other n turned back 2 listen Tha whole show. After it, they talked w john, who casually was an ex classmate of em. They talked 2 john about bein tha vocalist of an emergent heavy metal band. At first, John rejected, but time after that, he went 2 an aunties house who was dedicated 2 astrology. She convinced John 2 join 2 tha band, n thats how korn borned. Back in the day, KoRn got peoples attention so quickly, cuz they mixed rap n metal, n they "dressed like ravers".

In october 11 of 1994, KoRn Released their Debut album called KoRn or Self titled, havin tha singles Blind n Clown. This album its considered tha album who gave birth 2 nu metal, n if we check, this is tha first album who is actually nu metal, n after this album, other well known bands started 2 release nu metal albums like Sepultura or machine head, as well nu bands started 2 born, like Slipknot, Bizkit, Deftones, Sevendust, Soad, Linkin park, etc. In this album, we have tha song Daddy, which its the last song of the album, this song its about the s3xual violence that John suffered during his childhood by his babysitter n a friend of the family which have unknown identitys. Almost at tha end of tha song, we can hear John havin a mental breakdown n startin 2 cry n insult tha producer of tha album Ross Robinson. IMO, this album its probably 1 of their best works but not tha best, probably their 2nd best, but theres 1 more album that i think its better than this 1  

                                     

                                 °•✪LIFE IS P3ACHY✪•°

In october 15 , 1996, KoRn Released their 2nd album,  Life is peachy, album that haves the first song where John did his famous noises (Twist). In this album, we have the singles A.D.I.D.A.S., Good God n No Place to Hide, which r lesser known than their previous single blind. In this album, KoRn Released their first of lots of collabs, This time, w tha vocalist of Deftones, Chino moreno, who Made his debut in october 3, 1995, with the album Adrenaline thats kinda similar 2 Korns debut. Anyways, in the song Wicked which its an Ice cube cover btw, we can hear Chino doin all tha verses, while John does tha chorus. This same yr, Jonathan Davis n David Silveria Were involved w tha recordin of Tha song Lookaway by Sepultura, which its a song of their only nu metal album Roots.

     

Well, this album its easily their most famous album, n imo it deserves it cuz its actually soooo good, this album contains tha singles Freak on a leash which its their most famous song oat n got the life. Tha album also contains tha collab w Fred durst/Limp Bizkit "All in The Family". Also contains collabs w ice cube n Slimkid3, "Children of the KoRn" n "Cameltosis". I think this album its actually rlly good, but not my fave, still great    

                                          ☆✪ISSUES✪☆

My personal favorite album, came out on november 16, 1999, i think this album its kinda underrated, i mean, not at all but kinda cuz ppl only listens 2 Falling away from me n mayb somebody someone but it has a lot of bangers on it that ill say l8er. This album contains tha singles Falling away from me, Somebody someone n Make me Bad. This album its similar 2 Follow the leader, but a lil more experimental yk, its actually a great album, peak KoRn fr bro this album its obligatory on ur listens.                                                           

This album came out in june 11th, 2002, Tha first KoRn album of tha 00s, this album is way 2 underrated, tha only songs ppl knows of it r here to stay n thoughtless but same as issues, haves lots of underrated bangers on it. Tha singles of this album r Here to stay, Thoughtless n Alone i Break. This album its probably My 3rd favorite beside S/T n Issues.

This movie came out in 2002, n JD its tha main worker of tha OST of Tha movie, but in Spotify n in tha DVD edition i think, the songs performed by lestat on tha movie (who john gives his voice while singin) r also performed by other nu metal singers like David draiman of Disturbed, Chester bennington of linkin park, Jay Gordon of Orgy n Wayne static of static-x. Also John makes a cameo on tha movie.

In this movie of 1997, Korn Did a colab w the dust brothers called Kick the P.A.

In this album, John appears on Tha "Break stuff" MV, n also its 1 of Tha features, on the song "Nobody like You"
