i could listen to this song all day and night dude! the only thing about it is how long it is, but that's just a personal thang. i love sonic youth and i'm proud that it's my first entry in this archive lol.
this song also holds some sentimental value bc my dad showed this band to me through this song, and it became one of my favs super duper fast.

i found this song in kind of a crisis, but it's still one of my current favs. i have to say it's kind of annoying to listen to on repeat due to the lack of changing notes, kinda like listening to mr brightside on repeat lol. but it really brings you to another dimension the first time, doesn't it? at least it does for me. idk i feel like i'm going through hyperspace every time i listen to this song.

honestly i don't really remember how i got into this song, or this band in general, but i think they're really cool. this is a conceptual band that cosmo sheldrake and flora wallace (his wife) created, and all the songs there are kind of weird and cool and such. they really give me that cryptid at a girl guide camp feel. does that make sense? awesome tune. i really like cosmo sheldrake, at the point that i'm writing this i've actually just been to his concert as well. a rockin dude, he's really environmentally aware and active too, which is really nice to hear with all the problematic artists out there these days.

this is one of those songs where i actually preferred the other songs in the album a lot more than this one, but spit does hold a special place in my heart. was anyone going to tell me kittie is a canadian band by the way?? who knew they were based in ontario? canadians are awesome, man. i'm gonna have to figure out more local artists with cool music. anyways, this is all to say it just feels like a spit sorta day today.
