streams and boycott

something thats bugged me a lot lately is artists that have good music but arent good ppl. im talking ppl like melanie martinez, kyary pamyu pamyu and msi. these ppl do have some good songs but at the same time i hate giving them money and streams because they rlly dont deserve it tbh, but then again i want some way to listen to them. ive downloaded mp3 files on my computer like i did with some of my loona songs which i guess is one way of boycott, but idk is this trouble rlly worth it? they still have fans and streamers but they just dont deserve their money...?

all of this confuses me and i feel like im being over dramatic cause im sensitive as fuck but idk i just want opinions on this.
