first blog + indie song cover

i just began playing guitar this past summer, and it's weirdly really enjoyable?? i play flute, but for a few years now it's been feeling more like homework than a fun way to express myself. i never thought that playing a string instrument would b my thing (esp since i never had to learn chords), but yea. 

the main band that i like to cover is Guided By Voices, they're like indie legends to me, because their sound is so damn garbage (positive). every song of theirs i've heard is just about 2 minutes, usually under, and it's a super lo-fi sound that makes me believe they recorded everything on an answering machine 3 feet away from the 1 speaker all their audio went into. if you happen to want to get into them, start with their 1994 album Bee Thousand (pls and thank u.)
