My Love For ASMR

I know this is probably weird to blog about, but I love ASMR. I have been watching it since I was like 11 (I'm currently 19). The "ASMRtist" ASMRDarling was the first channel that I ever watched, and soon after that, I became obsessed. As someone who has always struggled to sleep because of anxiety and non-stop thinking, it was life changing for me. It quiets the paranoid/ intrusive thoughts in my head better than anything else. Ever since then, I have been watching ASMR to help me sleep, relax, or focus when I study. In recent years, I have started to prefer "fast and aggressive" ASMR. My 2 GOATS are BeeBeeASMR and PinkPoppyASMR. Their rambles and fast hand movements put me into a trance that sends me right to sleep. It's also just fun to hear them chat about random things and their lives. BeeBee always does fit checks and shows her cute cat, which I enjoy a lot. I know a lot of people hate ASMR, which I can understand, but I think most people just need to find the right ASMR for them. Personally, I cannot stand ASMR where they are eating food. I also hate very slow and quiet ASMR. Although I do think ASMR Tik Toks and livestreams have brought a lot more mainstream attention to it, and have normalized it a bit. Sometimes I consider making an ASMR channel, because I feel like I could do a good job considering how long I have been watching it. People don't realize that it is somewhat of an artform. ASMRtists come up with all types of crazy methods, like the fish bowl effect, spit painting (not as gross as it sounds lol), roleplays, and a ton of other unique and cool ideas. Do you like ASMR? If so drop your fave creators in the replies!!
