ACOTAR obsessed….

ok so… I have 2, ONLY TWO, new years goals.

1) try and read 20 books, audio book or hopefully some true handheld books in there too

2) start college off strong ( which I cannot do now bc college stuff starts later )

With that being said…

Yesterday I bought the book copy of a court of thorns and roses to annotate.

THIS IS MY 3rd TIME CONSUMING THIS BOOK IN THE LAST… year ( I listened to it the first time like… August? … so not even a full year bro ).

I have not been attached this much to a book series sense like 7th grade… AND I HAVENT EVEN FINISHED THAT BOOK SERIES ONCE ( maybe I will this year teehee ) 

Anyways, I’m 76 pages in ( impressive for my lack of reading skills ) && I’m annotating in color!

Blue: Silly or heart warming things I just love about the book or characters as a whole

Purple: silly and snarky things characters say ( Lucien & Feyre interacting )

Yellow/orange: dumb and stupid things the characters say ( or things that come back to bite them in the but )

Green: when people are being evil ( mostly Tamlin bc I know how he becomes later and I hold him to that )

Red: Sex. I don’t particularly want to read that stuff so I’m going to mark pages where it exists to brace myself. I might also use it for flirting or something but idk

I also have tabs on all the important instances that happen ( like when ferye does the thing that gets her sent to Prythian ( no spoilers here )) 

So uh.. yeah… I need to branch out man but I’m such a creature of I-like-it-and-I-never-need-to-try-anything-new

I think also why I can stand reading through the book is bc I listened to it, twice. I don’t have to wait for the interesting parts or to learn about the next thing, because I know them, and I know what I’m looking forward too :))

But yeah I almost bought the 95 dollar 5 book set at barns and noble when I stopped in yesterday… I was so close to doing it but I didn’t have enough on me ( I did but if I bought that I was buying it in cash )

Teehee anyways, I’m going to read some more bc it’s 10:48 at night and I have nothing else to do! Yay!! LMK if yall are cool with me ranting some more about ACOTAR, I have MANY thoughts :))

P.s, slightly but totally related, I watched a YouTube video complaining bout the lore of the Dream SMp ( I DO NOT LIKE THE DREAM SMP, JUST RANT VIDEOS ), and they made a good point that the dream smp had duo names ( for non-romantic pairings of characters ) and so I’m doing that with ACOTAR… I’ll share if anyone cares to know
