Unspoken shadows

A heaviness sits where words should be, an unnamed ache, a hollowed plea. Its roots are deep, yet veiled from sight, a specter lingering the night.

It whispers faint, no shape or name, a formless weight, yet just the same. It grips the chest, it dulls the mind, a thief that leaves no trace behind.

Why do i sink, though skies are clear? What phantom hand has gripped my soul? A spiral vast, no end, no start, a silent war within the heart.

I search for reasons, claw through air, but answer crumble as none are there. The not knowing gnaws, it carves, it feeds, On every thought, on every need.

My heart was torn to peace.
