Loose tongue

I discovered this song (the song ur hearing rn) not long ago, then I started listening to more of the guest list, then there was a part of the lyrics that I really liked. 

"Venus in furs
The first was mine, the rest were her's..."

With the fact that English is not my first language, I thought that ‘first’ was ‘furs’ and I found the idea dazzling, because it gave me the impression that the loved one was seen as covering and making the beautiful even more beautiful by simple love (which could or could not be bilateral, Venus is what she is and the furs too), even being only the furs that cover Venus, because something of that love made it diffuse to see where Venus began and where the furs ended, I don't even know how to put that image, how to pass it from my mind to words.

And searching, I came across ‘Venus in furs’ by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, which, if you know a bit about the subject, has to do with violence and how some people find it in love.
