hi!
hi gangalang! today I wanted to share something that I did a little spontaneously-- my freshly pierced helix! I know I did a piercing tour literally a few days ago, but I was feeling bored and wanted something meaningful to do. I'm gonna go through the process, meaning and results of my piercing here:
the process
safety is always my top priority, so I made sure everything was properly cleaned:
- I sterilized the needle by spraying it with bactine, and the surrounding area.
- took a deep breath and went for it, being careful to minimize risks.
the piercing itself turned out a bit different than I expected-- it's angled toward my head instead of parallel. at first, I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but now I think it gives the piercing a unique character that feels very "me".
meaning
for me, piercings are more than just aesthetic; they’re deeply personal expressions of my journey and faith. each one serves as a reminder of resilience, creativity, and the way God made me uniquely. I believe that our bodies are temples, and adorning mine thoughtfully feels like celebrating the beauty of His creation. every piercing reflects not just who I am, but also the growth, courage, and trust in God that guides me through each step of my life. I love Him :)
results!
I'm happy with my work, and I hope it will heal well. i'd love to hear about your piercing journeys, thoughts or stories in the comments!
