Benson in a film called the passenger wanted to be a giraffe when he was little, got me thinking.
What did I want to become when I was a kid? And the answer is everything, notice I wrote is and not
was, I still want to be everything. And.. nothing. Never understood kids who wanted a specific thing, let
alone the ones that achieved that.
What do you mean you want to be a teacher and indeed did? I wanted to be a ballet dancer, a bird, a
serial killer and the lawyer that put them in jail and the judge, wanted to be the detective that caught
the killer. Wanted to teach and be taught, Benson is dead.
And I am still alive, and still have to decide what I want to become. You always have to decide what you
want to become apparently.
My 4 year old niece has to decide as well as my 49 year old mom. Everybody has to as long as they live,
isn't that nice? Yes and no.
When will I ever become? Do I always have to think about that? Yes, you have every right to change, to
evolve. You have the whole universe to grow into and fill it up with you, and your ideas and actions, only
the good ones. Keep the bad ones to no one, not even yourself.
I rated the film 4 stars out of 5, probably should've done a 5.
