I disliked fishing too when I first started playing, but over time it grew on me (I am a pro now hehehe
). My best tip would be to hold the mouse button (?) for as small amount of time as possible cus that allows you to have more control over where your bar is. It takes practise to get used to it, but I believe anyone can learn how to do it

I love Stardew Valley! I have so many mods installed on there but I refuse to get mods for fishing even though I hate it and cry about it, I need to tolerate it and I need the difficulty to feel something. Plus, now I have to fish more fish because of the Stardew Valley Extended mod. It hurts but I did it to myself. Sob!

Fishing is a bit of pain for people, you get used to it after a while. But Stardew really is the COZY game. I always find myself coming back to it when other cozy don't fill that void.

omg I luved playing stardew valley so MUCH!! the fishing is so hard tho LOL I just had to deal with it. btw start investing in truffle oil it'll be worth it X3
thank u for the advice, i randomly found out about troufle oil being valuble to sell and i starded doing it all the time haha
fishing is hard but i got the iridium rod so i hope for the best

fishing hate in Stardew is TOTALLY uncalled for imo. obviously its a little hard at first but all you need is a good rod and some experience for it to be thrilling instead of scary 33333
