Thrifting

I have a strong aversion to resellers. The prices they charge are unreasonably high, and Goodwill is no longer a viable alternative not to even mention Depop. The items I have found have been insanely expensive. For example, a pair of pants that used to be $7–$10 two years ago are now $20 at a used clothing store.

I've had some pretty good luck with eBay so far and was recently able to get myself a pair of True Religion Casey jeans for only 20 something bucks (for reference, True Religion usually sells their jeans for like almost $200 in their stores).

It really depends on the seller and perhaps even what you're purchasing (certain more in demand or collectable items are usually going to be sold for higher than expected prices, for instance).

i usually love scemo style but aint got the budget for it so i just trift basic clothes and draw or them or sew things to make them more scemo, or just layer enough for the outfit to not be seen as basic
