Redshift
My
universe on a rolodex,
scattered thoughts in orbit
pulling me
in.
In an ocean without a shore
I worship the sky,
my
defeat.
Find me a place in the endlessness.
My cold water,
your harmony
orders stars to freeze.
Dusk will settle
and fade this world,
and in this strange light
these abstract
ripples become tolerable.
Lingering on a shadow cast from
afar,
tracings above that
mark the solstice,
mesmerised, tides will weaken.
It wishes
for the stars to explode,
and it wishes for the ocean to rise.
To
tell it all, to start again.
