BlueSky Vs SpaceHey - A surface level look

So, everyone's been going on about BlueSky a lot recently. So I tried it out. And although it has it's good points, certainly; ease of access is generally really good and it has a great blocklist system, it still doesn't hold a candle to SpaceHey.

I know it's trying to do something very different, but it really could have used some of SpaceHey (Or even MySpace's!) features. There's barely any customization for starters, it's just "banner and profile photo" like seemingly every other platform nowadays. Again, I know it's aiming for being "Twitter but it's nice", but would custom colours for profile backgrounds hurt?

It's also so much harder to ignore people being awful. BlueSky feels like meeting people in a big town centre or a Roman Forum or something, SpaceHey feels like meeting people in a cafe. Much more scaled down and friendly. And it's here I'm having more fun. :3
