So... the earth does a loop around the sun, right. And humans fucking loose their shit!

In approximately 5 hours, the sun will have done a full rotation around the earth, by which humans will proceed to incessantly drink and make lots of loud noises. And kiss. And hold one another's hands. And tell one another they love them. And reflect. On everything a person can hold in their hands. And they will look at one another and say "Hey! We did it again! We did it!"

I began 2024 holding my lover in my arms. Him champagne drunk. We listened to It's Been A Long Long Time by Kitty Kallen and we did the thing! I grabbed him by the face and we kissed and he picked me up and spun me around and off, we were running, headfirst into the new year.

2024 has been absolutely okay to me. It has given me some ups and downs. But as I type this, I am in my own bedroom. MY OWN bedroom, a fantasy I never thought I'd be able to experience. The dog I'm sitting lays her head in between her paws. The house is quiet and I have never been more okay. 

This year, I have experienced love like I have never experienced it before. (HI ELTON!!!) I got engaged. I went to clown school. I joined the local DSA. After dealing with substance abuse since the age of 12, I finally got sober. I am on testosterone baby!!!

The love makes me feel electric. I am buzzing with it. I am so deeply loved. My heart is a cup that runneth over.
