II. - New Year

a quote from an unknown book, the quote: "Everything in Time"

Everything in Time

The quote has been swirling in my mind lately. It's from an unknown book—a simple yet profound reminder that everything unfolds as it should. One year ends, another begins, and here we are again, circling the sun. And yet, for all the cyclical nature of time, it feels like nothing has changed. Or has it?

This past year has been a whirlwind. My primary focus has been on a singular goal: getting The God in Disguise ready for publication. That milestone still feels just out of reach, but I’m hopeful that next year will bring it to fruition. The process has been monumental, a culmination of countless hours of work and dedication. But in the meantime, life hasn’t slowed down. Instead, it’s charged forward with a frenetic energy, pulling me into new projects and opportunities.

The Journey to "Why You?"

Shortly after wrapping up the initial draft of The God in Disguise, I found myself diving headfirst into my second novel, Why You? The process has been anything but straightforward. Life has a way of throwing curveballs, and it’s been hectic balancing the creative demands of writing with the chaos of the world around me. Yet, amidst the turbulence, there’s been a sense of purpose—a thread of continuity pulling me forward.

Reflections on the Year

Life is good for now. It’s not perfect, but it’s steady. The world, however, remains a mess. We’re grappling with challenges that often feel insurmountable, from global crises to personal struggles. And yet, we persevere. We find pockets of joy and moments of clarity that remind us why we keep going.

As I look ahead, I’m filled with cautious optimism. There’s always hope for a better year, for growth, for healing, for transformation. I’m reminded again of that quote: "Everything in Time." It’s a mantra, a guiding light as I navigate the uncertainties of what’s to come.

Wishing for a Better New Year

To all of you reading this, I hope the new year brings you peace, inspiration, and the courage to chase your dreams. Let’s embrace the messiness of life, knowing that every step we take is part of a larger journey. And let’s remember: everything happens in its own time.
