METHOD #1: USERBARS SECTION ON TIPTOPGLOBE.COM
on the site once you scroll down the menu a little... you will see a neat userbars section between the coloring pages section and chess online section (:
in the image above its right there in the center!!!! around 16k userbars that havent been brutally murdered off the web (:
then after you click that... click on any of the 16 userbar categories that interest you
then once you select a category just look through and find any userbars you like or apply to you!!!! (: theres like 16k as i stated before so im sure everyone viewing this blog post will find at least one userbar they like!!!! enjoy

what if i want something specific and want to only get userbars of a very specific kind??" well heres the massive downside... YOU CANT ): your best bet is to consume time searching through a category that fits the specific userbar you want and hoping for the best...

METHOD #2: USERBARS.RU / USERBARS.NAME
next up we have userbars.ru!!!! unlike tiptopglobe the site is solely dedicated to userbars and doesnt just have them as a category so as a result there's an estimated 67k userbars on this site and due to its sole focus on userbars its very straight-forward and immediately displays the categories once you arrive to the page
if you dont understand russian you can either just click the "english version" button and be redirected to userbars.name which is essentially the same site but in english and with a slightly less clutter, or if your browser has a tool or extension you could translate the entire userbars.ru site to english
it also has a search tool unlike the previous site i covered!!!! very nice (:
but first off theres also a few problems we may need to circumvent
first of all when you click on a userbar and then go to its page and press the bb-code/html button below the userbar image it doesnt work on either site... userbars.ru just tells you its unable to give you said codes while userbars.name gives you them but without the image actually inputted in them and also it doesnt help that the site is really resistant towards linking to it
luckily theres an easy way to rectify these issues with trying to input the userbars!!!!
for userbars.ru you may notice that its impossible to right-click on the site or any of the pages... but thats an easy fix if you have an extension on your browser that lets you force right-click (im a firefox user and personally use happy right-click) you can copy the image address on a userbar and then put it into catbox and convert it into a link from there and it will work perfectly!!!!
for userbars.name its not right-click locked and all you really need to do is paste the image address into catbox and youre good to go
another issue might also be some language barriers within the userbars themselves (the site is russian and as such a heavy portion of the site has userbars on it with russian text) but its probably no big deal and ive seen a lot of english userbars on there as well

METHOD #3: USERBARSCITY.ARMATRONIC.COM
another site dedicated to userbars!!!! this one is defunct though so use the wayback machine
around the time it was still up there was allegedly around 2k userbars on it???? dont mark my words though
feel free to search around it!!!! even though theres a language barrier its easy to identify the categories due to a lot of words being shared with english
although keep in mind that this site is probably the weakest out of the three because of the fact that its defunct and not all the userbars have been archived unfortunately ): also theres no searching system
MISC METHODS
ive seen deviantart have some userbars so feel free to look around there!!!! id recommend trying to find a group or page dedicated to userbars
you could always try and make your own userbars...
you could try and visit old forums and find userbars through there
if i find more links i will definitely update this blog with an extended resources list on how to make userbars and deviantart accounts that have them (:
