I always find myself invested on writing a new story, I'm currently working on one that explores the life of a hikikomori looser and him being manipulated on the internet. I was drawing the sketches of the main characters and I found a really good playlist that gave me tons of inspiration!
Also, I often have this thing inside my mind (I don't know if I should call it "overthinking" or just "imagination") everytime I write something, my mind wanders a lot and makes variants of the story I'm working on, but like... INSANE radical variants, I haven't thought of a name for it yet. But they are really good ideas I'd like to work with but I think the best way to grab them all and do something useful is to do an ARG (making an ARG is one of my dreams).
Well, that's all I guess... I just wanted to share some of my writer journey with y'all.

You should post more about your story in your blogs!
I'd love to learn more about your characters and world building :)
Also, I know it's not an ARG but you could always consider making a visual novel? Even if just for yourself, Ren'Py is a pretty good tool to make one on and it could help you have a place to have your characters and story and have a way to have all the different branches and ideas for your story connect (like choice based dialogue and stuff), obvi just a suggestion but it's what I do to stay motivated with my art and stories, I just smoosh them together :D
