Yesterday while at the thrift store I saw a box that looked interesting. It looked worn down, beat up, had some stamps stuck to it (it wasn't a shipping box, the stamps were for decoration) and had the word "stamps" written in brown marker across the top. I opened it just to peek inside and I found HUNDREDS of stamps. It was 8 bucks so I decided to buy it. Once at home I found some insane stuff inside. Most of the stamps on the inside were from the 1960's. There were also postcards, one of the most interesting post cards being from 1932. Along with this there was a 10.000 austrian bank note from 1918. I looked at EVERY stamp, I kid you not. It took about 2 hours to sift through them all. There were stamps from all over, Canada, Austria, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, india, china, Japan, Iraq, Korea ect. A few of them looked interesting, so I scanned them on my phone to see how much they were and some of them were worth hundreds, but I will not sell them for 1 reason: this is not my stap collection. I didn't do the work to get all these stamps (one of them being from 1903?!). After I had gone through all the stamps I saw a note at the bottom written on a piece of white paper, it read "HANDS OFF!!!!!!", and since I believe the owner of the stamp collection is deceased, I hope I will not be haunted lol, for I bought it not to sell or destroy but to protect, because I find that things as normal and everyday as stamps, will one day be a look into the past for the youth.
