2024 kpop rating - first quarter

this is my opinion on kpop releases from january, february and march! this isnt all releases, these are just the ones i have listened to enough to make a fair opinion on them. sorry if your fav release isnt here T-T if i missed one you can put it in the replies and ill maybe do an album rating :3

itzy - born to be

fav song: yet but

such a great album, all the songs are soo good!! one of my fav itzy albums, i love itzy so much T-T remember when ppl were saying itzy flopped bc the music video didnt have alot of views but the ‘lack of views’ was like 14 MILLION?? anyways this album was amazing we moved on too fast

riize - love 119

plz remember there is a boycott going on, do not stream riize

i love this song so much bruh its so cute i dont have much to say bc i havent heard this song in a while lol but i love riize so much </3

waker - mission of school

fav song: atlantis

plz listen to waker yall their music is so good i have no idea how they are nugu plz check them out, they release full albums, theres no minors and im pretty sure majority of their songs are over 3 mins long!! literally everything kpop stans have been begging for.. but somehow nugu </3

nmixx - fe3O4 break out

fav song: passionfruit

I love the change ups in sonar and dash theyre so magical T_T the bsides ate too i love passionfruit so much its so underrated D:

tripleS aria - structure of sadness

fav song - farewell my first

door was so life changing… dahyun is such an underrated vocalist! why dont we talk abt farewell my first that song is so cute T-T if you plan on listening to this single plz use headphones i didnt and i regret it so bad.. 

tws - sparkling blue

fav song: plot twist, first hooky

im convinced tws were looking out for their southern hemisphere fans by releasing this album when it was summer for us >3< tws are so cute i love them so much i cant believe no one told me jihoon was redebuting?? this is such a perfect album though i love it

lsrfm - easy

fav song: good bones

MASSIVE shoutout to the fearnots that survived this era O_o this album was actually really good i dont get why ppl were hating on the songs.. i didnt really like we got so much but the rest of this was so good :D

nomad - nomad

fav song: california love and automatic

why why WHY did ppl hype them up predebut then abandoned them when they debuted T__T they ate so hard on this album even the songs i didnt really like i still can see why someone would enjoy them… i love u nomad <3

chuu - chocolate

if you told me 2 years ago that CHUU of all loona members was the most underrated in terms of solo music i wouldve just laughed at you…. this song is very cute very chuu i love chuu

taeyong - tap

fav song: moon tour

i liked shalala better than tap but i liked the tap album better than the shalala album.. tbh i havent listened to this album a lot but the songs im familiar with are sooo good T-T

nct wish - wish

i love nct wish why are they so underrated T—T such cuties.. i bought the keychain album and it is so cute! wish is such a fun song and sail away is so good…i love u wishies

xikers - house of tricky: trial and error

fav song: we dont stop, red sun, supercalifragilistic

probably my fav xikers album.. every song on this is so good!! i dont have much 2 say abt this album tbh, its so good tho!! ^-^

zb1 - yura yura

it makes me so happy that their japanese debut is pretty much their debut song in a different font…zb1 puts me in such a good mood idk

wendy - wish you hell

tbh i didnt listen to the album that much but this album went so underappreciated, i dont have much else to say tbh 

young posse - xxl

fav song - scars, xxl, roty

xxl changed my life… young posse music videos are always so fun to watch… this is the song that got me into them tbh! i cant believe there are scars haters ToT

illit - super real me

fav song: my world and magnetic 

another shoutout to illit fans who survived this era T-T i love you illit……. magnetic is so freaking magical bruh everything about this album is so beautiful all the tracks are so amazing, i cant believe they made an album so good that my least favourite is a top tier song MIDNIGHT FICTION.. illit deserve the world…. i just love illit idk

rescene - re:scene

fav song: yoyo

rescene rescene rescene rescene i love them… is it safe to say that it goes fx -> reve -> billlie -> rescene? i think it definitely is… i love rescenes concept so much yoyo changed my life

fav song: no fake

unrelated to the album but where is yuina?? i hope when she comes back julia stays in the group i love her so much.. candy shop are so underrated they are so cute
