Dreams

my whole life I've been a dreamer

imagining worlds intricate and kind

but as grew old I came to know

I'd have to face reality

everyone dreams - but suppression was free

and dreaming was quite costly

stepping forth on unsteady foot I worry away

hoping tomorrows a kinder day
