I've been a thinking about party kei and how stupid it was, and it made me realize how it weird it was that literally nobody brought it up or even made like an actual post or video talking about it and it's problems, it quite literally just imploded..
Do people remember party kei?

I've never heard of it actually, what was party kei and what was wrong with it?
I mean calling it a fashion style was generous. Basically, it was meant to be a subculture made by a Canadian youtuber, if you don't know anything about harajuku fashion you might be a little confused after this part but Party kei was essentially inspired by Fairy kei, A little bit of Cult Part kei, Decora, and Aomoji kei. Now the style it self, and how it looked like, wasn't the problem, it was the fact that the woman who was promoting the style used the suffix "kei". People thought this was her way of making a style she created overnight more authentic and more related to j fashion when it wasn't, and people rightfully corrected her and called her out. Aside from that, the style itself and the way it looked was like super inconsistent, he had no real meaning, and it didn't even have any historical or cultural background because again, this was made by a woman playing dress up and posted if on a blog post that for some reason is still up today?? Anyways that's basically my rant, there's not much you can learn on the subject aside from probably finding some old posts of her friends trying to promote the style. After a while the creator ju stopped promoting it and everyone forgot about it, for good measure btw.
