Yeah no you heard me right on that irl art can get stolen too. A few years back a girl I used to hang out with was looking through this lil tiny notebook I had at the time (bc she liked my art), and like a minute later she used the bathroom and when she came back she asked if I took the notebook back, which I replied with "no". So we did a lil search and couldn't find it (this was high school mind you) and class was about to end, so I said "hey, I see you on my way to 5th period, so if you find it, give me it then." She agreed and class ended. Not only did I NOT see her omw to 5th, but when I sat down in 6th one of my friends asked "hey, do you have a little tiny notebook with a red cover?" And when I agreed they told me that the girl was showing people the stuff in the notebook and claiming it was hers, and my friend was able to recognize my art bc I have a distinct art style. Me, that friend, and another friend we had decided to come up to her before the buses and ask for the notebook back. Dismissal time comes around and I find her holding hands with her bf and the notebook in her free hand, we ask her and it takes a couple of tries before we actually get the notebook back. The worst part is that she had drawn over some wip drawings and had colored some uncoloured ones with incorrect coloring (for example, one character had silver armour, but she had colored it green) I still have that notebook btw just goes to show that irl art can be stolen too use watermarks and signatures y'all I didn't have any signatures in that notebook

Irl art can get stolen too btw
