What are we?

I have been "talking" to this boy but yet I don't really know exactly what we are. One minute he's claiming me and calling me his, but the next he's not replying when I message. Today he said something inappropriate to me, I didn't really appreciate it and I told him that and he agreed that he was in the wrong. I showed my friend what he said and they said that he won't change and he will continue to peer pressure me until I agree to be s*xual with him (Today was not the first time). I really don't want to do that but I kinda don't wanna stop talking to him because I really like him and I have liked him for so long. I'm pretty sure he's liked me for a while too because around this same time last year he tried to get my number but I was in a relationship, I liked him before I started dating my ex then stopped when we got tg. Anyways the initial problem is that he keeps claiming me and saying I'm going to be his girl soon, but like what's the point in telling me that if you're not going to act on it, he's been saying this for weeks. Now it's got to the point that idek if I wanna be with him because the out of pocket things he says to me he could be saying to other girls bc we're not officially tg, and like why are you saying these things in the first place when we aren't tg? Idk am I over thinking this whole situation and get w him if he asks, or should I run while I still can loll?
