year in review (2024) ⸜( ´ ꒳ ` )⸝

been meaning to compile this for a while, but i kept forgetting~ and on top of that, i feel as if i left a lot of stuff out that happened in the year-- most of the notable events and stuff comes from the later half of the year. but i genuinely can't think of much else, and it sorta makes sense, since i tend to do a lot in the last few months of any year. i dunno, i just feel more energetic in the cold. anyway. into the lists. i love lists.

some notable events:

• 11th -> 12th grade
• when i left on the last day of school, "into the new world" by snsd started playing, lolz. felt pretty cool honestly. 
• one year on spacehey!
• opened a personal blog, daily blogs since! (more than 200 in general, though only a little over 100 days at the time of writing this :3)
• revamped spotify profile lolz
• revamped room (got a giant spock poster!!!)
• grand festival (splatoon 3), was on team present. still super happy past won tho, as someone who started playing during splatoon 1.
• ipod corrupted, had to do a complete reset and almost cried because i thought i lost it forever… but it’s healthy now :)
• started sewing again!
• got a disc player for my laptop!!! can now watch dvds and listen to cds while studying :D
• got gokusen ii dvds!!!
• went to karaoke for the first time
• best for last: hosted events with my club!!! (unfortunately fizzled out but i’m still so glad we tried our best and had fun <333)

layouts i had:

• i’m going to find my heart (february/valentine’s day special)
• very brief animated akanishi layout
• b&w forest, inspired by lips from kat-tun (october special)
• gokusen ii rainy day (birthday gallery, november special)
• buko salad
• return to the cybersphere

overall? best layout i had this year was the electro-world minidiscs, including the pfp, and the "real face" gifs... a masterpiece. kept it for six months. i don’t think i’ll ever write something as beautiful as it again.

i do think the top songs out of all songs i listened to this year was #menow. it brings up my mood every time, and the lyrics are really sweet too! it's short, but i feel as if it wraps itself up nicely, sooooo i loop it a whole bunch~

notable books: none. in terms of reading, this year sorta sucked ^^; most of them had such cool premises, but fell flat in one way or another, conclusions especially. hoping next year is better!

goals for next year: uhhhh. also none, except for just getting through it i guess. that always was/is the goal, but it's especially imperative now, i think.
