I and many more folks recently got the message that windows 10 will be discontinued and replaced with windows 11.
I first want to show why I am so angered by a new version of windows:
- Windows 11, unlike windows 10, has way less animations than windows 7,8,and of course 10. I mean by that, that the gradient effects of buttons you can see in windows 10's settings and start menu have been removed. And for animations, the windows 7 animation for opening and closing windows has been way nicer and detailed. And windows 8 had also more animations, especially 8.1. the graphical effects have sincee then not changed, all the way from vista to 11, there was blur in the taskbar and in windows and so on. These were just partially removed.
- The new designs of microsoft are made with blender or spline, I suspect spline because I remade some in spline to look almost identical. (No image to be shown for copyright issues)
- Windows 11 introduces copilot, a slow, unwanted, undisablible and annoying and of all processing power wasting addon that can be replaced with free variants, for example the official chatgpt page and a lot of free image generators (i know that because i used one 3 times in my live. And these were to make a background for a banner. And I ame out using own created art better.
- Windows 10 is already known to use and has an old layout, ehich we all know and use and which works perfectly fine. Windows 11 has a new layout and a new, smaller design that introduced corner radius and inner shadows, wow, who asked.
- Windows 11 seems to be a cash cow, since people have to buy windows again to make it work, or a new PC. I cannot install Linux because It requires knowledge to use installing programs and I think many people understand that.
- Windows 10 is iconic and should be kept as the windows for aboutt 50 years untill we got so stupid hardware that it is impossible to run. And since windows 10 was made for VR in special, it should work all right.
So, that are the reasons we should all go and say fugg you to Microsoft. So, please write "F" in the comments to contribute to windows 10s living on.

i'm still not over win 7 being discontinued :(
it was the os i grown up with, and when i see the default windows wallpaper, i find myself in a nostalgia state, idk, it's weird.
and now, win 10 is also being discontinued. it's weird to think that. i didn't used win 10 as much because i never had a pc that had the bare minimum to use it (i only had a early 2000's notebook with 2 gb ram , pentium m II cpu and 80 gb of storage), but i used it on the school pcs and on my current pc (before switching to linux, because my pc was too weak for win 10), and i'm starting to have the same feeling of 2022 when i see that win 7 was being discontinued. it's sad.
btw, now i'm using linux mint and it's a really nice os for beguinners! if you want to try linux, try zorin os! it's really simillar to windows and you can also customize it if you want!
but if you don't want to give linux a try, there's also tiny 11 (a custom install of windows with most of the bloatware removed)
you can find it on the internet, i guess :)
