Imagine a world where everyone ditched modern social media and went back to something simpler, more authentic: SpaceHey. It would feel like a trip back in time, but with a fresh perspective. Hereβs how the world would change:
1. Goodbye Algorithms, Hello Creativity
No more feeds controlled by algorithms deciding what we see. On SpaceHey, people create personalized profiles with glitter, animated gifs, and music that plays as soon as you open their page (who doesnβt love a good soundtrack?). Itβd be like living in a massive MySpace 2.0, but without annoying ads.
2. The Internet Gets More Personal
Modern social media feels sterile: posts, likes, stories that vanish in 24 hours. SpaceHey brings back the magic of personal blogs, friend lists, and that cozy βdigital homeβ feeling. Maybe people would actually get to know each other instead of endlessly scrolling.
3. Bye Bye Influencers, Hello True Creators
With SpaceHey, there wouldnβt be βcontent creatorsβ pushing detox teas or questionable clothing brands. Weβd go back to appreciating those who write, play music, or draw just for the love of it. Imagine a world without the obsession over βengagement.β
4. The Codersβ Revenge
The 2000s were a golden era for anyone who knew HTML and CSS to customize their profile. If everyone used SpaceHey, coding would make a comeback. Youβd see YouTube tutorials everywhere: βHow to Create the Perfect SpaceHey Page!β
5. A Generation Learns to Be Offline
Using SpaceHey might teach us to slow down. No constant notifications. You visit your profile when you have time, write a blog, share a thoughtβ¦ and then go back to living your life. Maybe weβd start using the internet as a tool, not a trap.
Conclusion: Would the World Be Cooler?
Yes. But not because SpaceHey is perfectβbecause it would force us to change our mindset. Learn to do less and appreciate more. Maybe itβs just nostalgic dreaming, but if the 2000s taught us anything, itβs that authenticity beats a thousand filters.
What do you think? How would your life change with SpaceHey?

Not to be a cynic (but just what Iβve noticed with experience) I think after a certain point of and when SpaceHey gets widely popular it I think all those nice things that make it unique from other socials would slowly disappear. Content creators, ads, and algorithms would slowly move in because there would be just so many people and thatβs how everything nowadays has functioned for a while. The only way for something to survive like SpaceHey would be to adapt, or it would have to remain somewhat niche.
I was thinking the same thing honestly,
most of the time, the more something gets popular the worse the thing will get.
I have noticed the AI chat site "c.ai" had added and removed features in the worst way possible such as relying on bots for moderation (roblox had done this too, the bots do their job really poorly and led people to get punished unfairly).
And that Youtube or Google in general's attempt to ban adblockers... etc

Now that I think about it, youβre right. When something gets too popular, it often loses that special quality with ads and algorithms taking over. I hope SpaceHey can manage to keep its essence, staying more authentic and avoiding those dynamics. Itβs tough, but weβll see what happens
