Heyy!!!! 

Merry Christmas/Happy holidays and have a happy new year! 

It's been a hell of a year and it's crazy to think it'll be over in a week. Christmas this year just didn't feel the same. Maybe because not all my family was with me this year or maybe it's just because I'm getting older... I'm not Christian and I don't actually celebrate Christmas but my grandmother is catholic so I grew up going to her house every holiday season with my cousin and we'd typically stay till after New Years. There were always decorations, presents, and a tree but now that my grandmother is older it's harder for her to decorate so this year she only put a few lights on some bushes in her front lawn. there was no tree but that's ok because this year we spent Christmas at my house. Today wasn't the most exciting ever. I spent more than half the day sleeping and finally around noon my mom came to tell me that my grandparents were coming over. my dad made brisket and we had dinner as a family then we called the family members that live farther away. that was all that happened. Im glad that I have family near by and im fortunate enough to see my close family members at least once or twice a year. I can't wait for next christmas (if I make it to then) but thats all for now ;p
